The new 704-page book captures the development of Slovak architecture of the 20th century on the example of 101 buildings.
From the Mound at Bradla to the Slovak Radio to the architects’ houses designed to the last detail.
The selection of 101 works in various locations from Bratislava to Trebišov was commissioned by DOCOMOMO, an international institution dedicated to the preservation of monuments of modern architecture. The texts by the collective of the Department of Architecture of the Historical Institute of the Slovak Academy of Sciences are accompanied by photographs by Matej Hakár.
